Allstate Medicare Supplement Plan G: Understanding an Existing Policy

Review standard Plan G benefits and Allstate policy-service channels while checking renewals, premiums and replacement rights separately.

If you have an Allstate Health Solutions Medicare Supplement Plan G policy, use your policy card and current documents to identify the issuing company and service contact. A brand name alone does not establish whether a new policy is available or what another person's premium will be.

Standard G benefit checks

Item Standard Plan G
Part A deductible and hospital coinsurance Covered under the standardized benefit rules.
Part B deductible Not covered; $283 in 2026.
Covered Part B coinsurance and excess charges Covered under standard G after applicable Medicare rules.
Foreign emergency care Limited benefit with separate deductible and conditions.

Read the renewal notice

Medigap is generally guaranteed renewable if premiums are paid, subject to legal exceptions. This does not freeze the premium. A company's decision about selling new policies does not by itself explain the status of your existing contract. Ask for written clarification of any notice instead of canceling based on a social-media post.

Use the correct service channel

Allstate Health Solutions lists Medicare Supplement customer service separately from some other insurance products. Start with your card or the official contact page. Have the policy number, service date and relevant notice ready; do not post those details in public comments.

For a medical bill, compare Medicare's claim decision with the supplement's payment. The supplement generally follows the covered Original Medicare expense; it does not make all noncovered care payable.

Before switching companies

Compare the same plan letter and deductible version, the new premium and any underwriting requirements. A lower quote does not guarantee acceptance. Confirm whether a federal or state guaranteed-issue protection applies, particularly if you have health conditions.

Keep existing coverage until the replacement is approved and effective dates are coordinated. Review separate Part D and other policies independently. Routine dental, hearing, vision and long-term custodial care are not automatically included in standard G.
